We had a little road trip to Stradbally, Co. Laois on Thursday last, delivering our drinks sponsorship for The Theatre of Food Disco Brunch in aid of #cookforukraine - a community and volunteer-led fundraising campaign and initiative designed to support the people and children impacted by the conflict in Ukraine; all proceeds from the brunch will go to UNICEF.
As a tribute to the wonderful cuisine of Ukraine, they will be pairing Cultured Food Company Kvass with Waterford oysters and serving Pampushky bread from Wicklow’s Firehouse Bakery. The menu was prepared by Cormac Handy, Culinary Arts Lecturer at ATU and includes shakshuka, a bumper fry up with Boxty House pan boxty and Kelly’s sausages, and there will be smoked salmon from the Burren Smokehouse and a granola pot with Velvet Cloud yogurt.
We are delighted to be able to collaborate with McKennas Guides, and Jacinta Daton, Head of Culinary Arts & Service Industries at Atlantic Technological University TU on this *sold out* event.
If you are heading to the EPFestivall this weekend, be sure to drop into #ToF2022 for inspiring talks, tastings, cooking demos and cocktail workshops over the 3 days!
