Good news food lovers, the results are in! The 2023 Blas na hÉireann Irish Food awards saw the highest number of entries this year, with almost 3,000 products and many new producers entering the awards for the first time. Dingle saw a weekend of food and festivity, bringing in Irish products from all over the country to competing for gold in over 150 food and drink categories.
We are proud to have one of our very own Ardkeen Food Heroes; Miena's Irish Nougat crowned Best Artisan Product for 2023. Based in the picturesque Glen of Imaal, Miena creates a balance of ingredients which enhances undulating flavours of, almonds, hazelnuts, chocolate and pistachio. She is has an uncompromising, passionate attention to quality and detail which is reflected in the presentation of these individually wrapped cubes of pure loveliness!
