Glenisk is Ireland’s best loved brand of yogurt, made with delicious fresh Irish milk. Renowned for its award winning of organic yogurts for adults, kids and babies, Glenisk is also the official yogurt of Irish Rugby, providing nutrition in the form of its Authentically Strained High Protein Greek Yogurt to the senior men’s and women’s team, as well as Under 20s. The family owned business works with 50 small family farms across Ireland to source organic cow’s milk and goats milk. Always focused on innovation and emerging trends, this year Glenisk has introduced the first ever No Added Sugar Baby and Kids Yogurt in both pots and tubes, handy for lunch boxes and on the go snacking. Glenisk has been at the forefront of sugar reduction in yogurts, with a mission to reduce or eliminate added sugars in all of their ranges. Last year, the company launched a new range of Bio Live Reduced Sugar Multipacks and followed these up this year with a new single serve Bio Live range.
Glenisk’s mission is about producing good food in a sustainable way, that respects and enhances the natural environment, now and for the generations to come. One of the first verified members of Bord Bia’s sustainability development programme, Origin Green, Glenisk has introduced a number of environmentally friendly initiatives at its manufacturing facility including an on-site wind turbine, reed beds to manage waste water, 100% recyclable packaging and the use of electric vehicles. Committed to fair trade and the promotion of organic agriculture, Glenisk is certified by IOFGA (Irish Organic Farmers & Growers Assoc.) and by the British Retail Consortium (BRC).
