Nicola Smyth’s great granny was a passionate jam-maker and the generations of their family that followed have tried to keep that passion alive. Blending this family tradition with some modern flavour innovation and using the wonderful produce that she is surrounded by, has resulted in Nicola’s award-winning Big Red Kitchen product range. As well as jams (which include Irish Strawberry, Pear & Vanilla, Rhubarb & Ginger, Irish Blackberry, Pineapple and Strawberry & Rhubarb) we also stock Nicola’s Lemon Curd and her Irish Raspberry Dessert Sauce which both won Gold in their respective categories at the Blas na hEireann National Irish Food Awards. Big Red Kitchen also supply us with a range of handmade Irish sweets including Bullseyes, Rosy Apples, Acid Drops and Clove Rock.
