Killahora Fine Perry is lightly sparkling and made from Oldfield, Blakeney Red, Huffcap and other varieties of perry pear, specifically bred since the 17th century. Our south-facing orchards on the Atlantic coast of Ireland’s Cork have proven ideal for growing the renowned pear varieties in this bottle.
They use wild fermentation, on nothing but juice, completed in bottle in a pet-nat style to allow you to taste the pears in their purest form. This gives a delightful, dry, natural sparkle.
Tasting notes:
A soft, moussey bubble mouthfeel brings out the notes of lemon peel, gooseberry and floral meadows.

Founded by two cousins, Barry Walsh and Dave Watson, Killahora Orchards is a family business founded on an estate dating back to 1750, with the goal of growing the best rare apple and pear varieties on Irish soil and to use artisanal techniques to turn them into award winning drinks. Everything is handmade on site with 100% fresh juice and we take our time, allowing their products to mature for up to a year to achieve the most complexity of flavour.
