Helen Gee and her family have been producing jams, chutneys and relishes on their farm since 1999. Handmade in small batches by Helen, these preserves are made in the traditional way -stirred and poured by hand from an open pan boiling method. "Made with only the finest quality fruit, sugar and a dash of lemon juice, it's this care and purity that makes them so utterly delicious. I hope you love their home made taste" Helen Gee. This chutney makes a perfect accompaniment to cold meats, cheeses, burgers and BBQs.

the story of the producer

G’s Gourmet Jams

G’S is Helen Gee, an innovative home baker and jam maker, married to a farmer in Abbeyleix, Co. Laois, who has managed to translate the very distinctive taste of homemade jam into successful business . The reason behind this success, is that the jams are made in a traditional wayusing an open pan boiling method. They are stirred and poured by hand and are made from only the very best quality local fruit and natural ingredients with no artificial colourings or preservatives. When you spoon some of Helens jam onto your scone in the morning, it’s going to bring you right back to your childhood kitchen table…it’s that good! Now, husband Cyril has diversified on the tillage farm, growing raspberries & rhubarb, and their adult children Roy, Clive & Sandra all contribute to production, logistics, HR & product development. From small farm kitchen dreams, grow strong quality food producers!
