Whitfield Honey is the continuation of a family beekeeping tradition. Owner Conor Trihy spent years studying and learning the art and the craft of managing bees from his grandfather. Whitfield Honey is produced from the wildflowers of Butlerstown and its surrounding areas. The local flowers provide Whitfield Honey with its unique floral taste and distinct fruity undertones.
A few years ago, in their house in South London, Malcolm and Fiona Falconer stuck a pin in a map of Ireland and decided to jump ship, buying a smallholding in the outskirts of Monamolin, Co Wexford. After “going wild” with the planting, they soon had so much to harvest they started producing jams, chutneys, relishes, syrups, pesto’s and much more!
